In-House Training Programs

All the above programs involve a duration of 2/3 days depending upon the extent of coverage envisaged. Vishstat is currently working on other programs like Forecasting, Resource Planning using Linear Programming, and Competitive Strategies using Game Theory.

Vishstat is planning to develop online courses in topics like Quantitative Methods, SQC, and Data Analysis in Web environment taking advantage of the state of the art technology. The idea is to provide interactive learning through Internet for executives who are busy and who want flexibility in learning.

Another specialty of Vishstat is that it can develop and conduct in-house courses that provide in-depth knowledge for corporate executives. They will of course involve longer duration and could be spread over a period of time in modular form.

Consultancy Services

Vishstat undertakes consultancy assignments for the corporate in three distinct areas. They are:

  • Statistical Quality Control (SQC)
  • In-House Market Research
  • Data Analysis

Assignments in these areas envisage two stages :

In stage one, the executives of the organization are to undergo the necessary training programs that provide the conceptual framework.

Second stage involves successful implementation of the techniques and procedures in the organization.

Brief Details of the Programs

Total Quality Management

This program is addressed to the middle and senior executives in quality management, who are interested in achieving excellence in quality. The workshop will focus on the principles practiced by the triple pillars of quality- Dr.Edward Deming, Dr.Joseph Juran and Philip Crosby.

Customer Satisfaction and Benchmarking Service Quality

This program is specially designed for the middle and senior functionaries in product/service management who are interested in achieving high level of customer satisfaction through best practices of great companies.

Statistical Quality Control

This program will be immensely useful to executives who are in quality assurance, quality control, production and R&D function. The objective is to give a good exposure on the tools and techniques of SQC for improving quality and reducing cost.

Quantitative Analysis for Management

This program aims to give a conceptual framework of management science/operations research for solving managerial and business problems. The emphasis will be on the ability of the participants to formulate the problem and interpret the results through computer based solutions.

Problem Solving and Decision Analysis

This program is built on the classic work done by Kepner and Tregoe for systematically solving problems and making effective decisions. It also includes extensive coverage of decision tree and value of information. This program is suitable to executives working in all functional areas of management

Data Analysis

This program aims to give a conceptual framework of statistical methods used in data analysis for solving managerial and business problems. The emphasis will be on the ability of the participants to formulate the problem/hypothesis and interpret the results through computer based solutions. Executives in all functional areas can benefit from this program.

Marketing Research

This program will focus on the tools and techniques of marketing research in the present highly challenging and competitive environment. The objective is to develop and implement effective marketing decisions based on analysis and interpretation of marketing information.
